[SBB] Tennessee Warbler

This morning, 1 Oct 06, I went to the Guadalupe River Trail north of Blossom Hill Road to look for Janna's sparrow. I found a TENNESSEE WARBLER working the fennel across the river from the trail in the presence of a single ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER. These birds were near the stony culvert and worked their way towards Blossom Hill. Also in this area was a WILLOW FLYCATCHER, a handful of YELLOW WARBLERS, and my first-of-the-season RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET.

By the way, Janna's bird was a CHIPPING SPARROW. At least there was one there at the same time I was there. It was foraging with WHITE-CROWNED SPARROWS, SONG SPARROWS (one of them tailless), a couple LINCOLN'S SPARROWS, and a SAVANNAH SPARROW.

At the Arzino Ranch, the huge flock of TRICOLORED BLACKBIRDS still had the YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD in with them. A half dozen VAUX'S SWIFTS were overhead at State and Spreckles.
