Along with all the usual culprits, caught sight of a Blue-grey Gnatcatcher, a young Cooper's Hawk, and a Band-tailed Pigeon.
No Chipping Sparrows but several Chipping Squirrels.
Penny and Dave Kiehl
P.S. We birded from about 5 PM - 6:30 PM. When we returned to our car, a rear window had been smashed and Penny's purse stolen. We have the "privacy" glass and her purse was on the floor behind the front seat - not at wall easily visible. There were not as many people walking as usual but still a fair number. We've been to this park many times over the last few years without a problem, nor have we heard of any or seen anything suspicious - of course, we didn't see anything suspicious today before leaving our car.
