All,
This morning Frank Vanslager and I had a pair of AMERICAN DIPPERS (singing
and interacting) just above the second bridge on Stevens Canyon Rd (over
Stevens Creek). Later we saw a CASPIAN TERN flying over Stevens Creek
County Park toward the reservoir (nothing new noted in the park itself although
we did seem to have a small group of TOWNSEND'S WARBLERS moving through the
Villa Maria area of the park). At McClellan Ranch Park we saw a male
BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK at a feeder and a male HOODED ORIOLE was in the top of a
tree doing a chip note that was reminiscent of a House Sparrow.
Take care,
Bob Reiling
