[SBB] aberrant Golden-crowned Sparrow

White scouting for the upcoming Birdathon this weekend I found an aberrant Golden crowned Sparrow at the Santa Clara Water District headquarters on Almaden Ex. It was foraging alone on the ground in the north east corner of the property near a fenced Sycamore tree. It's face was the same gold color as a broad fore-crown which tapered to a median crown stripe. This striking bird otherwise appeared normal.

Two calling adult Osprey flying over the river channel were harassed by Am Crows. Flocks of Cedar Waxwings were in constant motion the hour I spent birding at 2 pm today. A Spotted Sandpiper and small flock of peeps seen, as were a few of the usual herons and egrets. Two adult Nutmeg Mannikins were gathering dry rush near the river channel.
