All,
I made a quick scouting trip to the Alviso Marina over lunch today
4/21/06, to see what was visible from the dike behind the cannery
building. Visible over in Salt Pond A8 were 3 SNOWY PLOVERS and a
SEMIPALMATED PLOVER. Also what looked to be two Sanderling flying with a
DUNLIN way out - but the heat haze was too bad to be sure. A LINCOLN'S
SPARROW was with several GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROWS in the brush. Several
EARED GREBES were on A8 and A12, with one distant AECHMOPHORUS GREBE
(likely WESTERN) on A12.
