If you are referring to the path that heads downhill, it certainly has
not looked like a deerpath (although it may well have become more over-
grown); but it assuredly leaves park property. On the other hand, the
old orchard is also now blocked with the same signs. There the paths look
like old roads, and it was a nice place to bird. I had always thought
it to be part of the Park, but that was based more on a natural assumption
than on any solid information.
