[SBB] Cedar Waxwings in June!!

I birded along the Alamitos Creek trail for an hour this morning. Female W. Kingbird seen gathering nest material and flying to a Sycamore tree near the picnic tables at the pedestrian bridge. Later the male flew towards the trees with an insect. Two Green Herons flew into the island sanctuary. One male W. Bluebird on the lawn near Winfield. A flock of 30 Cedar Waxwings continue at this location!! One male W. Tanager perched at the top of a Sycamore was my first here this spring. A pair of Hooded Orioles and a first year male were in the trees at Crossview Ct. Something upset the adult male and he looked twice his normal size with his feathers all fluffed out. Several Bullocks Orioles seen in the large Valley Oaks here. Black Phoebe's feeding young at three locations and another on a nest under the Mazzone bridge. I walked around the burial ground east of the Mazzone bridge and saw a pair of W. Bluebirds feeding young at their nest box. A pair of Ash throated Flycatcher at another nest box also feeding nestlings. A singing male Yellow Warbler was heard in the willows south of the bridge.
