This
morning, Tuesday, July 04, I almost rode over an adult Cooper¹s Hawk
when I left my apartment complex. She was standing in about
2-inches of water where our driveway meets the street. When I
threatened to run her over, she reluctantly left; she did not seem to
be carrying anything. This is the third time this has happened,
with the other two being on the mornings of June 5 and June 6.
This might seem a nice way of cooling the feet, but the days were not
particularly hot. Does anyone know what this bird was
doing?
