Hi,
There are chicks at the SWPCP. I think they are green heron chicks:

They are low in an olive tree where the channel ends as you go from the
parking lot to pond A4. Yesterday there was at least one other GREEN
HERON active in the area, but the confusing thing was that it was
gathering twigs from the olive tree and bringing them elsewhere.

Friday there was a green heron near the nest, looking protective.
If you find them, turn around and look for the 2 BURROWING OWLS that
hang out on or below the fence of the treatment plant.
Thanks to Brian (?) for pointing the heron nest out to me.
