The AOU checklist supplement of 1973 was where the official lump happened.

Subject: [SBB] Question

Does anyone know in what year the Myrtle Warbler and the Audubon's Warbler were united into one species - the Yellow-rumped Warbler?  I have looked through all my books and searched online, but cannot find the answer.  Please respond to me offlist.  Thanks!
