There was a bright yellow warbler in the willows at the
north end of the parking lot at Geng Rd. in Palo Alto
Thursday morning at 10:30. It appears to be a female
YELLOW WARBLER that has wintered over. I've sent a
couple of pics to Bill Bousman who thinks that's the
most likely ID, despite their rarity this time of year.
The bird has some eucalyptus gunk on the head. It was
in the bushes exactly where the parking lot ends and
the bike path begins, occasionally popping up to
some branchs about 8 ft off the ground. E-mail me
