Hi SBBers,
This morning was my 3rd failed attempt, this year of course, to get the
Northern Waterthrush at the Charleston Rd marsh. Before heading home I
walked over to check with a woman who looking up at a tree across the path
from exercise station 9 near the pumphouse. She was without binoculars and
trying to see the bird she had heard. After a few minutes I got a good but
brief binocular view of the very active bright male WILSON'S WARBLER in a
potted ornamental near the edge of the commercial tree property. My first
this year. I didn't get the other persons name before she dashed off happy
with the i.d. info.
