After missing the Red-Naped Sapsucker, ... again, I had a look round Sandy Wool Lake at Ed Levin this lunchtime. I found a pair of NUTTALL'S WOODPECKERS, a RED_BREASTED SAPSUCKER, and a BARN OWL, all in the trees between the dog area and the lake. Round the lake were scattered 20 KILLDEER and 2 DOWITCHERS (SHORT-BILLED?), some DOUBLE_CRESTED CORMORANTS, A GREAT BLUE HERON and a GREAT EGRET.
