[SBB] Eurasian Wigeon Continues at Baylands

The male EURASIAN WIGEON previously reported at Palo Alto
Baylands continued there this morning from 11 til noon.

He remains in the embayment opposite the ranger station.
I found him feeding on the mudflats across the road from
the picnic area parking lot, about 60 or 70 yards east
of the ranger station. He moved to the flood channel,
then to the bank on the south side of the flood channel,
staying among a group of American wigeon and green-winged
teal.

I tried to find him a few times earlier in the morning
without success. Most the wigeon were sleeping on the
bank with heads tucked under the wing until 10:30 or so.
The Eurasion wigeon was quite easy to find when they
finally warmed up and began feeding.
