This morning Roland Kenner and I checked out Salt Pond A8 in Alviso. We
found several SANDERLINGS, but we could not find any snowy plovers. We then
went to the Alviso Marina where we found the WHITE-THROATED SPARROW in the
fennel patch south of the Marina parking lot around 10:15. In the same area
we saw FOX SPARROWS, LINCOLN'S SPARROWS, and the very striking leucistic
WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW.
Take care.
Pat Kenny
