All,
At mid-day today 1/4/06, I stopped by the Charleston Road marsh, bumping
into Mike Mammoser as I arrived. We continued clockwise around the marsh
and managed to get the NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH going in the south central
willow thicket close to Charleston Road. Despite the bird chipping 20
to 30 times from right in front of us, we only got a brief glimpse as
the bird flew west a few yards. Further searching turned up a female
TOWNSEND'S WARBLER and the WINTER WREN (this time about 50 yards
northeast of the waterthrush).
