At 12:45 this afternoon, Jan 1 2006, Ann Verdi and I, along with 2 men
we didn't know, saw 1 BLACK RAIL at the Baylands. It was on the levee
next to the trail about where one was seen in early December. We didn't
see it, but as we got near, it flew across the open water into the tall
grassy stuff and disappeared.
