All
This morning Frank Vanslager and I first went to Ed Levin County Park
and checked the area below Sandy Wool Lake Dam for Owls. Lots of Owl
Pellets below several of the trees but the only Owl well seen was a GREAT-HORNED
OWL. Three other Owls seen briefly in flight were also most likely GHOW
(by color and size). We then up to Sierra Road were we had RUFOUS-CROWNED
SPARROWS, HORNED LARKS and GOLDEN EAGLES (GOEA included at least two adults
and a white tailed juvenile).
Take care,
Bob Reiling
