All,
This morning Frank Vanslager and I decided to try for
some recently found goodies; at the Coyote Creek Field Station we had at
least two GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLETS working the upper parts of the large Oak
Tree located just northeast of the CCFS Banding Trailer (and south of the
Eucalyptus Tree), we then had a PRAIRIE FALCON soaring low over the
hillside north of Marsh Road (near a large Eucalyptus Tree) and lastly
we saw the two male EURASIAN WIGEON feeding in the pickleweed east of
the parking lot for the Interpretive Center.
Take care,
Bob Reiling
