[SBB] Stevens Creek Shoreline

Today, Kay Partelow and I led a walk starting from the kite flying
area, crossing the wooden bridge then the metal bridge over the
creek, going part way down to view the Crittenden Marsh area, and
returning to loop the Tidal Marsh.
There were again large bunches of Canada Geese, but the Brandt was
not among them. Highlights were a Eurasian Green-winged Teal in
Stevens Creek, a pair of Belted Kingfishers flying around pond A2W,
a couple of Tree Swallows, good looks at male Common Yellowthroat, a
Coopers Hawk perched on one of the towers, and a Ruby-crowned Kinglet
flycatching the clouds of insects in the creek. There also was a
Burrowing Owl on the top of the area west of the mitigation channel.
