All,

Today I tried to find something new in the county for the year but birding was very slow at most places ;-( Best birding was at Monte Bello OSP with the best birds being five HOODED MERGANSERS (including an adult male) in the small pond near gate five (MB05). This pond also had three PIED-BILLED GREBES in it and three FOX SPARROWS were at my feet along the edge at one point.
