When I arrived at Terminal Blvd. this afternoon, there were 50 American White Pelicans flying around over Charleston Slough. They were gone by the time I walked out there, but four of them came back and splashed around in Adobe Creek for awhile. I took their pictures and then went back to the car to drive to Byxbee Park. I waited on top of the hill from 4:30 to 5:05, but did not see any owls.
