Re: [SBB] SEOW continues at Palo Alto



I'm always ending up a short distance away from you and the rare birds. First, during lunch on Tuesday, I went to Shoreline Lake instead of the Shoreline overflow parking lot. Today at sunset, I was at the sailing station just across the slough from Byxbee Park. A Northern Harrier, probably the same one you saw, flew by at 4:38pm. At 4:45pm, two Peregrine Falcons came in from the direction of Byxbee Park. Here's a poor photo of them:

Right after I took that photo, one of them caught a shorebird and carried it off across the slough. Here's a photo of that:
