All,
This morning the male EURASIAN WIGEON was in the Palo Alto Yacht Harbor
"marsh" (as seen from the structure? near southwestern corner of the eastern
most parking lot - nearest the Yacht Harbor mouth). A MERLIN was
perched nearby after making a pass at a flock of "peeps" in the marsh
(missed). Two male HOODED MERGANSERS and a CLARK'S GREBE were just
outside the Harbor Mouth. There was great shorebird activity in the harbor
as the tide started to fall. No luck with the Sparrows along the outflow
channel near the airport runway :-(
Take care,
Bob Reiling
