Can anyone help with an id of an immature raptor at Bayfront Park in Menlo Park, seen near the intersection of Grecko Island and Salt Pond R4 today at 11:00 a.m. Dark bird, streaked breast, striped tail, about 22 in tall, white, patchy areas on head and throat (osprey like). Observable today at very close range, appears tame almost! Seen chasing jackrabbit and assuming low perches on vegetation and man-made structures in area.
