Re: [SBB] Geng Rd Hooded Merganser



Interesting. It wasn't there this afternoon. There were three Greater White-fronted Geese by the Geng Road pond around 1:40pm, but all the other geese were Canada Geese.
 
Did you (or anyone else) look for rails at high tide? It was closer to low tide by the time I got to the Palo Alto Baylands, so I was surprised to find a Clapper Rail walking around the body of water just south of the Interpretive Center's parking lot. I have photos of it here:
