Good evening all....
Went to Gates of Heaven Cemetery today around noon...it was quite
birdy....
Tons of Canada Geese and a few Cackling thrown in....but the big surprise
was the Snow Goose ....It had a lot of blue to it's back (but was more like a
juvenile bird than an adult) and was staying close with the Canada
Geese. If anyone is out there I would appreciate what you have to say
on this goose.
Also, Mallards, (female) Common Merganser, (female) Bufflehead,
Meadowlarks, Red-winged Blackbirds, Brewer's Blackbirds, Starlings,
Yellow-rumped Warblers, Acorn Woodpeckers, Scrub and Stellar's Jays, Gold
and White-crowned Sparrows, CA and Spotted Towhees, Black and Says Phoebes, (3)
Kestrels (males), Quail, Killdeer (4), Bewick's Wren, House Finch and
American Goldfinch.
Wishing you all happy holiday and good birding......
My best regards,
Linda Sullivan
