SBBirders---
This morning (12/1/06) at 7:45, a PEREGRINE FALCON was catching thermal
from the steam column at the SW edge of the Stanford Medical Center. A
NUTTALL'S WOODPECKER was working the birch trees just next to the Fairchild
Building, and AMERICAN CROWS were squawking down at the NW end of the Med
Center where I work. Now when I arrive at work I can be treated to the
same annoying sound I hear every morning at home in Los Altos, as crows
relentlessly march up the Peninsula.
The RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH that arrived in our yard in Los Altos was
still present as of Nov. 26.
