[SBB] Cooper's Hawk

We had our first Cooper's Hawk of the 'fall' season
checking out the backyard menu Monday and Tuesday of
this week. This was a large adult.  Am I correct in
assuming it was a female?  The past two years we have
had only juvenile Cooper's hunting in the yard.
