ALL,
At about 9:45 this morning Frank Vanslager and I re-found the partial
alternate plumaged PACIFIC GOLDEN-PLOVER in the Gilroy Water Treatment
Facility (near KILLDEER in the western third of the only pond with water in
it located southeast of the administration building). This facility seems
to have good numbers of LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE and on the last couple trips
we've seen at least one very drab looking WESTERN KINGBIRD. A GREEN
HERON was roosting on the wooden structure between the first ponds located
near the entrance. I've also been asked that people not drive around these
first two ponds or in any way disturb the two MUTE SWANS located there.
Stops at Calero (high water level) and Almaden lake Park (also high water level)
were for the exercise only.
Take care,
Bob Reiling
