Howdy all....
Yesterday I spent a good part of the day putting up some bird boxes around
the backyard ....I had put one woodpecker nesting box up when I moved in last
year....today I had a beautiful pair of Western Bluebirds at the box....but I
think Oak Titmice are nesting in there...Is it to early for Oak Titmice to be
nesting? I have seen them go in and out of the box and they made a huge
racket when the bluebirds were at box sticking their heads in....Would the
bluebirds enter a box if there is another bird's nest in it?
Let hope my other boxes get some action....looking forward to nesting
time....
My son and parents noticed the Black-headed Grosbeak at the feeder today.....of course they said look at that great bird....Very neat... Wishing you good birding and my best regards,
