I saw my first Western Kingbird of the spring on my lunch walk today at the IBM Almaden Research Center. (After 24 years working at the IBM Cottle Road facility in south San Jose, our group moved up the hill to ARC about three weeks ago. ARC is a beautiful facility nestled in the hills dividing Almaden Valley from Blossom Valley. ) Lots of opportunities for interesting wildlife up here!
