I went to Shoreline Park (Mountain View, CA) this evening to check on 
everyone's favorite burrowing owls. Looks like we're down to just three. I 
recognized one of the adults (the squat one that always gives me a flinty 
squint and doesn't have leg bands), and the remaining two birds have all 
their adult chest markings.
