Last Thursday 9/8/05 Peter Doyle and I birded Ed Levin CP. We first 
circled Sandy Wool Lake where we saw one WESTERN BLUEBIRD, 2 LOGGERHEAD 
SHRIKES, 1 YELLOW-BILLED MAGPIE eating a mouse and 1 AM. KESTRAL eating 
a mouse and 1 YELLOW WARBLER near the dog park. At the Elm Picnic area 
we saw 3 BARN OWLS in the 3 pine trees near where the Littles reported 
seeing them. Aso 1 SHARP-SHINNED HAWK.

Today I took a loop around Lake Cunningham at 3:00p. I saw 1 female 
WESTERN TANAGER in the creek across from the marina, 2 NUTTLES 
WOODPECKERS and 4 YELLOW WABLERS. I also saw 1 GREEN HERON on the lakeshore.
