This morning after Frank and I saw the BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER, a county
life bird for both of us (#326 for me) we unable to find any other birds of
note. On a somewhat belated note Frank tells me that during Sunday's SCVAS Field
Trip Allen Royer had a Black Turnstone and a Pectoral Sandpiper in
Charleston Slough. Birds were seen from the "new" viewing dock located on the
southern edge of Charleston Slough (just across the dike from the pumping station
located in Coast Casey Forebay).
