Folks:
Yesterday, 10/28/05, I birded along Coyote Creek near the CCFS. I looked
unsuccessfully for the Plumbeous Vireo with Bob and Frank and then birded
along the creek down as far as the old heronry. A PRAIRIE FALCON was on a
transmission tower near the trailer when I arrived at ten and an adult
MERLIN was along the creek when I left in the early afternoon. I heard one
HOUSE WREN in the reveg area and, later, I had an intergrade NORTHERN
FLICKER there as well (I noted only the yellow-wing linings and a red malar).
