Hi all,
I went to check out the previously-reported YELLOW BELLIED SAPSUCKER this
afternoon at around 3pm. I found it actively feeding on the sycamore tree.
Three times it flew to some other trees (cottonwoods?) over by the bridge,
where it searched for insects, only to return each time to the
heavily-drilled sycamore.
While there, I also saw one beautiful male TOWNSEND'S WARBLER, one HERMIT
THRUSH, and one female DOWNEY WOODPECKER.
