Hello SBBers,
At Ed Levin CP, there were two Golden Eagles circling over the foothills.
Four Yellow-billed Magpies were in the area of the eucalyptus grove at the hang-glider landing area. These were the first Y-B Magpies I have seen in the park for quite awhile.
A Red-breasted Sapsucker was also in the area of the hang-glider landing area.
With repairs underway on the dam at Sandy Wool Lake and the lower water level, a small flock of dowitchers were on the mudflat at the north end of the lake. (It's rare to see dowitchers at Ed Levin CP.)
