[SBB] WHITE THROATED SWIFTS

I walked along the Guadalupe River trail from Coleman Rd to the 85 freeway today. A male and female BELTED KINGFISHER were seen in separate locations. Sixteen WHITE THROATED SWIFTS flew over the trail for ten minutes near the freeway overpass around noon.

I returned later and found three WILSON'S SNIPE feeding on the west bank near the gravel sandbar on the water district property. Also seen were several COMMON YELLOWTHROAT, four NUTMEG MANNIKINS, one COMMON MOORHEN, five LINCOLN'S SPARROWS and a HAIRY WOODPECKER which was in a pine tree near the VTA parking lot.
