After 2 hours of unsuccessful searching yesterday afternoon, I returned to
CCFS this morning and spent another 3 hours looking for the Canada Warbler.
What I found - 2 VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS, 1 flyover AMERICAN PIPIT, a
BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLER, 4 ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLERS (1 a tailess banded
bird), 3 HOUSE WRENS, 2 WINTER WRENS, a couple "WESTERN" FLYCATCHERS, and
about 5 HERMIT THRUSHES.
Hormones were still running in some birds, as many FOX SPARROWS were
singing, in addition to 1 of the Orange-crowned Warblers and 1 of the House
Wrens.
