I think your goose is likely a domestic goose or offspring from a domestic
goose. One feature that sets the Branta geese (Canada, Cackling, Brant,
Barnacle, Red-breasted, Nene) apart from the other true geese is that they
have black legs. The Anser geese, which include domestics, as well as the
Chen Geese which are very closely related to Anser have orange or pink legs.
Apart from the patchy brown and white coloration which suggests a domestic,
the orange legs also suggest something other than a Canada Goose, at least a
pure Canada Goose.
