At 1:45 pm this afternoon, I was able to look almost
straight into the eyes of a peregrine falcon perched
on a ledge outside a 17th floor window of San Jose
City Hall (east side of building). She (?) stayed
there about an hour, facing in toward the offices, and
it appeared that she was focusing on different objects
and/or people movement given the changes in iris size
(is that called pinpointing?). Gorgeous.
