A pair of Vaux's Swifts continue to fly over my yard. I saw them twice
today. They always fly east or west, sometimes quite low. I'm wondering if
they could be nesting nearby.
I had a new yard bird today. A singing male Yellow Warbler was found this
morning and was still in our oak tree this afternoon. The male Purple Finch
has returned and was singing the past two days. Cal.Towhees are nesting in
bushes in the front yard as they do each spring.
