I am sending this again since it seems not to have gone through,
I still have Pine Siskins as well, but in the last 2 days have had an
influx of molting male American Goldfinches, which is a very rare
species in my yard.

I participate in Cornell Lab's Project Feeder Watch. During Pine
Siskin irruptions I get 40-60 of them on my four feeders unless the
weather clears and the sun comes out. Then they feed elsewhere. In
the last three weeks the weather has been clear and my Siskin count
has dropped to 1-3 birds. Today, in the rain, I have 42.
I guess they are still here!
I should add that I also have regular visits(every other day or so)
from a Sharp-shinned Hawk. I suppose I'm feeding him too.
