This afternoon I found 1 adult male RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD perched in the
red-flowering eucalyptus tree at the middle parking lot of the Spring
Valley area of Ed Levin Park. Also seen there was a sow w/10 piglets.
At the end of the road into the Chaparral Ranch, there was a nice
comparison of an adult male BULLOCK'S ORIOLE and an adult male HOODED
ORIOLE in the same bush. An adult male ALLEN'S HUMMINGBIRD was hanging
out across from the large eucalyptus at the end of the road.
