My wife caught a finch-size bird up close in a big lens, but I can't
ID it. There were 3-4 at the Water District's Recharge Pond next to
the river channel, right where I have seen House Finches before. I
can't put the red-headeded head on the speckled flank and white
breasted body. I don't know the rule about attached photos, so I not
send a picture until given the go sign.
