[SBB] osprey at Grant Ranch

This morning while I was checking the Grant Ranch Great Blue Heron colony
for SFBBO, I saw an OSPREY.  It flew over the lake without stopping, caught
a thermal over the hills to gain altitude and then continued flying off to
the north.  Last year, on March 28, I also saw an OSPREY fly through Grant
Ranch, presumably migrating through our area.  Has anyone ever attempted any
hawk watching during migration from any location in the Mt. Hamilton area?

The lake also had 29 AMERICAN WIGEON.  About 25 of them arrived in a single
flock.
