At 4PM today 2/25/04, the second winter ICELAND GULL was still at Hidden
Lake Park in Milpitas.
Initially I had what I thought was this bird on the roof of the
yellowish townhouse on the S side
of the parking lot.
Later the bird was on the shore east of the dock, allowing a close
approach and excellent side-by-side
comparisons with THAYER'S GULLs.
