[SBB] Puddle Phalarope

   I was told today by other birders of a Red Phalarope at the west end of
the Shoreline Amphitheater overflow parking lot -- immediately east of
the first parking lot at Shoreline Park.  Sure enough, it was there,
either resting by the edge of a small rain-puddle, or picking at who
knows what in the puddle.  Assuming it came in yesterday, it's not a
good sign for its survival that it was there today.  [I had earlier
checked around the New Chicago Marsh without finding one; I was going
to check Crittenden, but was detoured to this much faster stop.]
