Re: [SBB] Sharp-tailed Sandpiper

When I got to the Alviso Marina about 11:45, I heard that the
Sharp-tailed Sandpiper had been seen east of the RR tracks at 8 AM,
but not since. It finally returned at 12:30, amazingly on the small
narrow island closest tot eh RR tracks. About a dozen birders had
very nice views. (I'm not sure who saw it there first. Even at
distance, a scope was needed.) It was with a few Least. When a
freight train came by, they left, but it stayed. An Amtrak train
finally flushed it to the far shore, with a lot of Leasts; it was
still there when I left at 12:50.
